Flo Edwards

Florence S. Edwards DDS, has been a practicing dentist for over a decade including time served as a Captain in the US Army. She is a Howard University College of Dentistry graduate and a Maine resident since childhood.

Flo is an active member of her community; she serves on the Board of Directors of The Third Place. In 2024 Fourth Friday became a recipient of a Maine Community Foundations grant.

In her spare time Flo is a bit of an outdoor enthusiast. She is an avid road and trail race runner, with 20 races under her belt, enjoys snow shoeing on forest trails, camps every summer in Maine's state parks, and goes kayaking with her wife along the rivers and coasts of Maine. Their two Labrador retrievers are often included in the outdoor festivities.
